Myrslokstok says:

What kind post processing do you do on the ring shoots?

JcTv says:

Thanks for sharing J Star ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m curious about your choice of focal length
of 80th & 60th using 100mm & being hand held, isn’t the sharpness of the
images affect? Your a great inspiration ๐Ÿ™‚

souljaboy100688 says:

Awesome video! Will help me for future weddings ๐Ÿ™‚

Jasmine Star says:

@artawesome: I usually shoot the rings during bride prep since she most
likely has both of them at this time and it’s before they actually wear
them officially ๐Ÿ™‚ @whitluvspurple: Not a stupid question at all! I love
slow shutter speeds and here’s a post that may help with the shakes: (just
realized I can’t post a link…email me and I’ll send it your way!)
@TamNguyen: Yup, I’m pretty ballsy…in the most girl-ish of ways, of
course. ๐Ÿ˜‰ @LakkerPictures: Breathing is for wimps! ๐Ÿ˜€

Jayme Peters says:

Jasmine- What lens is that?

mazdaman1980 says:

I’m really surprised, I was expecting so much better. The photos seemed
like they were lacking detail and ultimate imagination. I appreciate you
are shooting on the fly freehand but surely the use of a monopod would help.

Joshua Caudell says:

Very interesting Ms. Star. I love your bangle bracelet that you have on in
that video, Ms. Star!

desk0z says:

This is a 100mm Macro Lens 2.8 IS

Ajira Darch says:

Lukas Gisbert-mora says:

your studio looks amazing.

Ticknor Photography says:

artawesome says:

when is it a good time to ask for the rings to shot them?

Ajira Darch says:

@OfficialJasmineStar you can post a link in the description box for this
video. ๐Ÿ˜€

courtneyjade85 says:

girl, you are just FABULOUS!!!

Tisha UnArmed says:

I love this video. i would have liked to see more examples of what you were
talking about using photos of actual wedding shots to show the diversity in
the stylization you use

Nick Villarreal says:

i want the 100 2.8L so bad! gotta start saving up

Peter Sinclair says:

The focus on the demo is primarily for the composition. Since every
photographer has his/her own unique style of editing, I believe she only
displays the image straight out of the camera as a reference.

Lai829 says:

I hope there are more videos like this in the future! ๐Ÿ˜‰ so cool to see
you in action…;-)

Abhilash Patel says:

how to shoot d ring without macro lens…..please guide me

Tejeshwar Taneja says:

In my humble opinion, you have great composition skills. I would love to
see some landscape/ cityscape photography from you. Best regards.

BlackDreadBoy says:

I will stay fabulous!

lazycrewband says:

your teeth look fake, but your bottom looks genuine …

Aqualungization says:

canon 100mm macro f/2.8 L.

Tam Nguyen says:

Pretty ballsy for shooting with a macro lens from top down at f/2.8, 1/60s
and hand held.

Denny Giacobe says:

Jasmine All do respect, If I presented my clients shots like your showing
here I would have some very disappointed clients.Your taking not making

James Isaak says:

Was that a 24-70mm?

jamesbrian says:

Image stabilization does allow for 1/60s hand held – it’s a great/flexible

Jayme Peters says:

yep thanks! I asked her on fb anyway lol

riosquad says:

Hahahah “thats how you roll” hahaha u had me rolling

Kevin Van Haesendonck says:

when did you breathe in this video ? haha, great video!

K O says:

Thank you so much! This is very clear and very helpful.

whitluvspurple says:

This may be a stupid question but if you’re shooting a relatively slower
shutter speed, how do you keep camera shake out of the picture? I know
you’re supposed to brace your arms and press the shutter release slowly but
for some reason I get camera shake. Any ideas or tips? Love your videos.
You’re a great inspiration.

BlueCalmSea03 says:

Things I love: 1. Your emphasis on telling a story. This is one reason why
I love photography. 2. Specific scenarios with examples. 3. I *love* it
that you talk fast! You get a lot of content into your talk in less time
and I can pay rapt attention through long videos because of this.

Rachael LeBLanc says:

oh my god, don’t you get nervous without a camera strap!? gurl…you are

msgilliam1474 says:

You look very professional a beautiful.
