Think about layers like a sandwich. The bottom of the sandwich is the
bottom layer. All the layers are stacked on top of each other and you can
move them around and adjust certain elements. I hope this makes sense 🙂

Very instructional! Some of the functions I do not have on my “student”
version of Elements, but I can still get most of the functions to work (I
wish I had the “pen” tool!) Thanks!

Hello and hope you don’t mind me asking you a question, it is how do you
get 2 different pictures on the same layer stack, like the baby and the
cup, there must be a way but it baffles me, I’m a new user of cs5, maybe
something to do with my age, 82 and not as bright as I used to be, hope you
can help please, George Allsop
